I've found that anyone who likes Lars will also really enjoy The Station Agent. It's a totally different type of movie, but similar themes run through it. I've been thinking about it off and on ever sense. I wrote on my blog that "It was a beautiful picture of brokenness and the healing that can come when a community of people chooses to unconditionally accept and love someone just as they are. And a beautiful picture of the healing that can come when a community of people allows someone the space and time they need to work through hurt and pain in their own unique way."
